During my recent transit through Ella, I chose to stay at Maple Home Stay. Although I did not have the opportunity to fully experience all the features of the hotel, there were a couple of aspects that stood out to me. the location was convenient as it was the nearest airport, just 85 km away. This made it easy for me to catch my flight the next day without any hassle.

The room I stayed in was in need of some improvement, particularly the condition of the bed.

The kids absolutely loved the nearby playground and the swimming pool, which kept them entertained for hours. It was great to have these family-friendly amenities so close by, making our stay memorable and enjoyable. The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place for a family getaway.

My kids wished they had more activities specifically for children.

Rented a bike and felt like a free spirit. The airport was a short drive away, perfect for making a quick getaway. Breakfast was like travelling the world without leaving the table.

Who needs strong WiFi when you can disconnect from reality in this charming place?

As a family with young children, we were delighted with the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, providing us with helpful tips on places to visit and arranging bike rentals for us. The food served was delicious, and the view from our room's balcony, especially during sunrise, was simply breathtaking. We highly recommend staying with this wonderful family for a truly memorable experience.

For families with children, my wife says that it would have been great to have a small play area or toys available on the premises.

the hosts at this accommodation were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. the house was impeccably clean and the home-cooked meals, both dinner and breakfast, were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend staying at this guesthouse for a lovely and enjoyable stay. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like 😊.

The room was big and comfortable, with a huge balcony offering a great view. the location was perfect, within walking distance to all the action but far enough to have a peaceful sleep. the owners were amazing and very helpful. They assisted us in renting a scooter and arranging transportation to our next destination. They even cooked a delicious Sri Lankan dinner for us. we had a pleasant experience at this guesthouse.

Upon arrival, we had a bit of an awkward moment as nobody was in the house. We had to go downstairs to find children calling for their mother, who arrived a few minutes later.

Clean and tidy rooms, helpful owners, quiet location, amazing view from balcony, delicious breakfast, affordable price.

Felt very welcomed, nothing to complain about.

I had an incredible stay at Maple Home Stay. The location was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of Ella Gap and Little Adam's Peak. The room was clean, spacious, and had a large balcony where I enjoyed breakfast each morning. The bed was hands down the most comfortable I've experienced during my trip. The hosts were incredibly kind and made sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend staying at Maple Home Stay for a charming and welcoming experience in Ella.
